JMS cheerleaders excel at camp

The Jacksboro Middle School cheerleaders had a successful week of camp at Texas Christian University. 

The cheerleaders took home two gold superior ribbons for their sideline evaluations, one blue superior ribbon for their extreme routine, and two spirit sticks.

Two “Pin It Forward” leadership awards were given to Alex Holman and Brynn Pardue for displaying great leadership skills and positive attitudes throughout camp. 

Three JMS cheerleaders were named to the All-American squad: Hadlee Richardson, Harlee Richardson, and Jenna Herd.  Another All-American award was given to the mascot Paxton Kenvin. 

On the final day, the girls received a 2nd place finish in the Extreme Routine Championships, another 2nd place finish in the Time Out Cheer Championships, and finished up Camp Champions for their Game Day Performance. Mascot Paxton Kenvin was named Overall Camp Champion Mascot as well.
